Looks like FIFA's gonna change their rankings criteria, taking into account results over the past four rather than eight years.

It would be better ... I mean come on some countries are in top 20 that do not belong there. Where did you read that ... I an really interested in that !

I'm quite sure after the WC the US will not be in the Top 10 in the FIFA rankings list!!

The United States fell from No. 16 to No. 23.

World champion Italy was second, followed by Argentina, France, England, the Netherlands, Spain, Portugal, Germany and the Czech Republic.

Nigeria was No. 11 followed by Cameroon, Switzerland, Uruguay and Ukraine.

Mexico moved up two places, to No. 16 from No. 18.

I feel disappointed though, they used to be ranked 4th in the world, and now 16!!!!!!!!
I feel ashamed for my Home country.

Oh yeah, and Australia was ranked 29, then, got moved back down to 33, where it started after the World cup.

Dont worry at the end of this month there should be some more changes!!

Isn't it weird that Mexico and USA who were once ranked 4th and 5th in the world at the start of the year has dropped like a rock!!

The way in which Fifa calculate the ranking does not always ensures that the best team are ranked at the top.
They should try to change it to reflect the reality.
The method they use is outdated.
